Clearance scanner with built-in track geometry measurement and IR camera
KSLT Tunnel scanner is a railway clearance scanner. It can be used for scanning of tunnels, railway platforms, vegetation or any objects located along the track. As the system is based on stable Krab platform, it also measures full track geometry data. In such way the system gets enough data to reconstruct a full 3d profile of the tunnel tube.
The system is further equipped with IR camera, which is fully synchronized with the profile measurement and provides valuable visual data. The IR camera is supported by IR headlight operating in a flash mode with power of 400W.
The trolley is intended to be pushed manually with typical walking speed of 4 kph. The typical sample size on tunnel wall with this speed is 2 x 2 cm.
After the measurement is finished, the data is copied to USB flash disk and further processed by evaluation program on PC.
In dedicated evaluation program, the user can explore camera shots taken in IR or visible light spectrum, view the cross-section profile, explore iso-graph and track geometry signals (gauge, cross-level, alignment, top).
